Store Development Process
When opening stores overseas, Daiso works closely with local staff on tasks ranging from site inspection to store layout and design. While ascertaining various conditions in the area a store will be opened, such as local business customs, laws, market conditions and culture, Daiso provides complete support, from fostering local business relations and maintaining the distribution system, to educating employees.
Sight Inspection
On site inspections and business negotiations are carried out repeatedly, then store opening methods and areas are determined.
Concept Decision
Once the area’s special features and range of customers are determined, a concept is determined for the store. Then initial arrangements are performed and a team is brought together to open the store.
Store Design
