The 40th Sanyo Women's Road Race Tournament

Hello! This is Nozomi Matsumoto, who is in charge of the blog this time!
We participated in the 10km section of the Sanyo Women's Road Race Tournament held in Okayama City on December 19th.

I ran the last race of the year, keeping in mind my goal of this season, "running 10km at an average pace of 3 minutes and 20 seconds per kilometer."
Since the middle stage, I was able to run calmly in the group, so I tried to move forward aggressively, but I suffered from the slopes and winds in the final stage, and the result was not convincing.
However, I was able to significantly improve my time compared to last year, and I am gradually able to cope with long distances that I was not good at until now, and I am no longer worried.
I have continued to update my personal best this year, but there are still many things I think I can do, and there are some challenges that I cannot overcome and carry over to next year.
Starting with the Ekiden, which was a big first step for the team, I would like to connect many things I have experienced so far next year and do my best to grow further!
