From October 1, 2019, Daiso industries Co., Ltd. Ltd. (Higashihiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, Representative Director and President: Seiji Yano Yano) will be providing a smartphone payment service provided by PayPay Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director, President and CEO: Ichiro Nakayama). "PayPay" will be introduced at Daiso directly managed stores nationwide (excluding some stores).
By introducing "PayPay", we hope to reduce the burden of cash payments for customers using our store and respond to the need for cashless payments.
From October 1, 2019, in response to the consumption tax hike, the implementation of the reduced tax rate system, and the promotion of cashless payment services, Daiso will gradually accelerate the transition to cashless payments such as credit card payments and electronic money at stores, making them more convenient for customers. We will create a store environment that is friendly to customers.
