Princess Ekiden (2022)

On October 23rd, the Princess Ekiden in Munakata/Fukutsu ~The 8th Women's Ekiden Ekiden Race Tournament against All Japan Business Teams~ was held.
The Daiso Women's Ekiden Club finished 5th overall.
Thank you very much to everyone who supported us.

We will post the comments of the players who participated.

[Section 1] Koyuki Kato
I'm Koyuki Kato, who drove the 1st section.
In this race, I was able to run as I had imagined in the first half, but in the second half, around 1km before the last, my legs got stuck and I couldn't run as I wanted, which left me with a lot of regrets.
Also, I found some issues, so I hope I can practice well for the next Queens Ekiden and report good results!
Thank you for your encouragement!
Thank you for your continued support.

[Second District] Takehara Sakura
Thank you for supporting the Daiso Women's Ekiden Club.
With the support of many people, we were able to run in Section 2, and as a team, we were able to finish in 5th place.
Ms. Koyuki from the 1st ward tied the tasuki in a position where it was easy for us to run, so we were able to follow each other firmly.
And I was happy because it was 5th place where everyone won by far exceeding the target ranking.
I will not be satisfied here, and I would like to prepare well for the remaining month so that I can run at a higher level than this time in the Queens Ekiden, which I have longed for.
Please support us at the Queens Ekiden.

[3rd district] Hirachun ancient capital
Thank you for all your support at Princess Ekiden!
We finished 5th on the team!
As an individual, I still have a lot of things to reflect on, but I ran with the desire to pass the sash without giving up until the end and without widening the gap from the front too much.
Also, for the Queen's Ekiden, I would like to get in good shape so that the entire team can show us a level up from last year!
And thanks to the many people who cheered us on along the way, we were able to do our best at this year's tournament with spectators!
I'm really thankful to you!

[5th district] Misaki Aihara
Thank you for your encouragement! I'm Misaki Aihara, the one who ran the 5th ward!
I was very happy that the team was able to finish in 5th place and achieve results that exceeded our goals! !
As an individual, I was able to run more calmly than last year and was able to shorten my time!
I am not satisfied with this result and will continue to practice daily.
In the Queens Ekiden, I will finish the race with a feeling of gratitude to the people who support me, so please support me! !

[6th district] Misaki Kato
Thank you for supporting the Princess Ekiden!
In the Princess Ekiden this time, I was full of anxiety and tension when I ran the 6th section, but when I ran, my anxiety and tension were blown away and I was able to enjoy running.
I think this is because everyone's support has become my strength.
I'm still lacking in strength, so I'll do my best to have a better race than this race at Queens Ekiden. Thank you for your continued support.
