The "Emperor's Cup 25th National Prefectural Competition Men's Ekiden Race" was held on January 19 in Hiroshima.

Daiso industries Co., Ltd. was involved in the tournament as the main sponsor of this tournament, and Maya Iwamoto, the director of the women's relay road race, was involved in the tournament as the director of the Hiroshima national team.

Teams from 47 prefectures nationwide ran through the course of 48 km on seven sections with junior high school students, high school students, college students, and fellow students, with their local feelings in mind.

The Hiroshima Prefecture team was ranked 16th. The team is still young, so I look forward to future success!

On January 12, the 38th Empress Cup National Prefectural Women's Ekiden Race Tournament was also held. We will continue to practice daily so that the women's Ekiden club will also have players who are active in this tournament.
