Athletes from the Daiso Women's Ekiden Team participated as guests in a track and field class held at Saijo Elementary School in Higashi-Hiroshima City on October 3rd.
This track and field class was held to break the standard record to participate in the end of the month record meeting.
After doing gymnastics and light warm-up together, the students were divided into men and women by grade and measured their 800m records. It was a very meaningful practice session, with children who had already broken the standard record setting new personal bests.
In addition, after the record measurement, a 1000m relay competition was held between the children and the three Daiso Women's Ekiden club athletes. Unfortunately, the Daiso team lost, but it was a very close battle and it was a lot of fun.
After the class, many children came to ask the players questions.
The players looked like they had a lot of fun, and the children seemed to be in high spirits.
