The 15th Daiso Challenge was held on February 11th.
This was the second road race event, and approximately 500 elementary and junior high school students participated.
Elementary school students competed on a 1.45km road course, and junior high school students competed on a 2.8km road course.
Participating athletes were provided with hand warmers made by Daiso and Sera steamed buns provided by the Sera Town Tourism Association.
In addition, medals were given to the 1st to 3rd place athletes in each division, and ASICS products were provided by ASICS Co., Ltd. for the first place athlete, and a small Kumanofude brush was provided by Koyudo. The 1st to 8th place winners each received a certificate and a special product from the Sera Town Tourism Association. For the first-place junior high school student, Junup was provided by Junup Co., Ltd. The Higashihiroshima Track and Field Association Chairman's Award was presented to athletes (one male and one female, elementary and junior high school students) who achieved excellent results.
