Women's Ekiden Team Participates in Queen's Ekiden and Finishes in 18th Place Overall

On November 27th (Sun), the Daiso Women's Ekiden Club participated in the "Queen's Ekiden", the best women's Ekiden in Japan, and finished 18th overall.

This tournament will feature 8 seed teams (Queens 8) who won the 8th place in the previous year's tournament,
The right to participate in the “Princess Ekiden 2022” (Fukuoka Prefecture), which was held on October 23rd.
A total of 24 teams qualified, with the top 16 winning teams. (Daiso Women's Ekiden passed Princess Ekiden 5th place)

The Daiso Women's Ekiden Club participated for the second time in two consecutive years, and ranked third from last year.
The result was 18th overall.

The Daiso Women's Ekiden Club was founded in April 2019 by the founder, Hirotake Yano, who wanted to give back to the local community and contribute to society. With the goal of social contribution activities through sports activities, we are active in business teams and international competitions, and are also working on activities such as running classes in the region.
