Daiso industries Co., Ltd. (Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, President: Seiji Yano, hereinafter “Daiso industries Co., Ltd.”) has formed a partnership with Uryuyama Gakuen and Kyoto University of the Arts (Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture, hereinafter “Kyoto University of the Arts”). As the third industry-academia collaboration project, on August 6, 2023, at Daiso industries Co., Ltd. Sangyo Tokyo Headquarters, students gave presentations on new product ideas and conducted a final screening. The selected works will be released at DAISO nationwide from next fiscal year.
