Introduction of new members of Ekiden Club ②

Hello everyone!

The entrance ceremony was held at the head office on March 31, and five athletes and five running coaches (Hiroyuki Inoue and Yamanashi Gakuin University) officially joined the Daiso Women's Ekiden Club!

Everyone wears suits and smiles are wonderful.

By the way, this time I would like to introduce Yamashita and Rebecca as I previously announced!

First, I would like to introduce Mr. Honoka Yamashita, who is from Kojokan High School.

Staff "Is there anything that changed your life from high school after joining Daiso?"

Yamashita: The dormitory is now a single room and I'm preparing my own lunch. I didn't cook when I was in high school, so I would like to make a variety of foods while considering nutritional balance. I'll run and I'll do my best to reach 9 minutes and 10 seconds at 3000m."

Staff "Your practice and personal life have changed. Why did you choose Daiso?"

Yamashita: When I visited the dormitory, I thought that everything was in place and I could aim for a higher level than when I was in high school.”

Staff "I see. I want to work hard together. Please give me a final word."

Yamashita "I will do my best to set high goals for both individuals and Ekiden. Thank you for your support!"

Thank you very much. Next, I would like to introduce Mr. Mwangi Rebecca from Kojokan High School.

Staff "What is Rebecca's driving strength?"

Rebecca "A big stride and a feeling that I will not lose."

Staff “I look forward to a strong run! What is your goal this year?”

Rebecca "I want to finish 8 minutes 55 seconds for 3000m and 15 minutes 25 seconds for 5000m. The team is to participate in Princess Ekiden."

Staff "Let's do our best with goals! So, please give us a final word."

Rebecca “I will do my best! Thank you for your support!”

Thank you for reading until the end.

The Daiso Women's Ekiden Club also has a new system. This year, both players and staff will do their best to participate in Princess Ekiden.

Thank you for your continued support.
