Daiso industries Co., Ltd., Ltd. (Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, President: Seiji Yano, hereinafter referred to as “Daiso industries Co., Ltd.”) is planning to celebrate its 50th anniversary with gratitude to customers, the number one and only one charm of 47 prefectures. From November 4, 2022 (Friday), the original tote bag designed will be released at DAISO nationwide.
Founded in Hiroshima in 1972, Daiso industries Co., Ltd. currently operates 3,790 DAISO stores in 47 prefectures (as of the end of February 2022).
This time, based on the concept of "love your hometown more", I wanted to express my gratitude to customers in each region of the country by making a tote bag with a design of the number one and only one charm of each prefecture. .
All 47 types of tote bags with regional trivia illustrations will be sold only at DAISO stores in each prefecture.
The tote bag is 32 cm square, which can hold A4 size paper, and is environmentally friendly, as it uses recycled fiber for about 60% of the raw materials.
The illustrator is Yutanpo Shirane, who specializes in simple and pop illustrations. Illustrations of each prefecture will be announced in order from September 29th (Thursday) on the 50th anniversary special Instagram.
