Announcement of "Daiso Women's Ekiden"

Daiso industries Co., Ltd. (Higashi-Hiroshima City, Hiroshima Prefecture, President: Seiji Yano) founded "Daiso Women's Ekiden Club" and held an inauguration ceremony in Hiroshima City on March 20th.
Hirotake Yano, the founder of the company, wanted to give back to the local community with the passion of "I want to contribute to society by reviving the excitement of tears from the live radio relay of the Chinese relay road race when I was a boy." I did.
In the future, in order to train middle- and long-distance runners based in Higashi-Hiroshima and expand the athletics population, as social contribution activities through sports activities, we will hold athletics classes for the general public and marathons. We will also work on dispatching guest runners for the tournament.

We invite Shinya Iwamoto, who has been a track and field coach for Sera High School for 15 years since 2004. In 2015, he won the National High School Ekiden Simultaneous Men and Women Championship, as well as 5 times for boys and 1 for women. A coach with a great career that has led to a total of six wins, and the best coach to leave a new team.
In the future, we aim to win the All Japan Business Team Competition Women's Ekiden Race Tournament and to be active in international competitions.
